Academic
OUHKS is deeply committed to supporting its members academically by fostering a strong mentorship culture. Senior students within the same subject areas provide guidance and advice, helping juniors navigate their academic challenges and excel in their studies. This peer support network enriches the learning experience and builds lasting academic connections. Besides internal mentorship, we also regularly host talks and fireside chats with esteemed professors and academics both from Hong Kong and Oxford.
Beyond supporting our own community, OUHKS actively gives back to Hong Kong through a valued partnership with Access Abroad Hong Kong. Many of our committee members serve as mentors to disadvantaged secondary school students, offering crucial assistance with university applications and higher education pathways. This reflects our dedication to empowering the next generation and strengthening ties between Hong Kong and its students abroad.

ACCESS ABROAD HK
We have historically partnered with Access Abroad Hong Kong, which supports disadvantaged students by providing mentorship on UK university applications.

SUBJECT
MENTORSHIP
Each year, we organize subject-specific mentor groups and dinners for freshers, giving them the chance to receive advice and support from seniors.

TALKS
We also regularly invite academics from Hong Kong and beyond to hold talks and fireside chats on their area of expertise, expanding our members' horizons.
