In 1997, Hong Kong reunited with China.
Hong Kong people, including our protagonists, carried mixed feelings towards the change - both optimistic and insecure. Joe Yeung, a superstitious 19 year-old teen, has always been protecting his childhood friend Tong Tsing Yi, who is in a loving relationship with Fong Chi Hong. However, Joe accidentally learns a secret from a phone call by Chi Hong.
How will Joe deal with it? Where will fate take our young protagonists?
